Funeral services for Alden Louis Miller, age 83, of Clute, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015, at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Marie Ponder officiating.

Alden was born in Dilley, TX , on April 13, 1932, and moved to Clute, TX , in the 1950's.

Alden is survived by two wonderful daughters, Debra Miller Dunn and husband, John, of Jackson, TN, and Carol Miller Russell and husband Scot, of Lake Jackson, TX; five grandchildren, Cody and wife, Carly Russell, Scotie Russell, David Shirey, John Jr and wife, Kristin Dunn, and Kaylie Dunn; two great-grandchildren, Lily Rose and Cody Austin Russell; and brother, Johnny Miller.

Alden was a quiet man whose love for his family came first. He will be greatly missed but we know he is in the hands of our heavenly Father.
