Dear Family,

Harry was such a sweet, kind and gracious man. Clute (and the entire Brazosport area) was indeed fortunate and blessed to have had such a fine person among its citizens. The lives he touched by his involvement in sports and the community as a whole are innumerable.

Our condolences to each of you on this great loss. May you be comforted by the peace that only Jesus can give...His peace which passes all understanding.

The Edwards family will be forever grateful for the friendship of the Blevins family.

Our love,
David and Janice (Edwards) Johnston

I was fortunate to be among the many, many in Brazosport who got to know Mr. Blevins as an umpire. He was truly dedicated to support local baseball. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Harry was a wonderful, loving & caring man. He touched so many people through his involvement in baseball & softball. I remember him at the Brazoswood football games & booster club meetings, also. I will miss getting a hug & kiss from him - wherever I saw him. Remember all the wonderful memories. May God wrap his loving arms around the family to bring you the peace that only he can give.

Although I didn't know your Dad, I could tell by your post how much he meant to you. Having lost my Dad quite a while back, you were lucky to have him this long. Think of your memories and know he's with God, and no longer in pain.
Love ya, Marilyn Vincent
