AJ was my hero growing up. He always called me "Little Brother", he had rules for his little brother, when we were riding around with friends, he would say its automatic that he gets shotgun (window seat on the passenger side). Don't come around when he is with his girl friends, do as I say and not as I do.
We didn't have much, but we had fun, fishing and hunting, riding our bikes, and playing football with the neighbors. Later on we became closer and best friends.
When he went away to the Army, I was lost for awhile.
I am so glad we got to visit as much as we did as we both had families and grew older together. We used to talk about when we were going to retire and what we wanted to do. He always had the biggest tomatoes and best garden. We would send each other photos of our big tomatoes. He always had the biggest.
We spent many times together just catching up and enjoying some german soda pops.
Glad I got to see you for the last time and spend some time with him, even though I could see he was suffering. Love you Brother.
May your soul find eternal rest, and your legacy continue to inspire future generations. R.I.P. Big Brother.

Linda & Family, so sorry to hear about AJ psssing. We always enjoyed the activities we had at First English Lutheran in Damon!
AJ was the ''Master Chili Chef'' each year we had our chili & stew fund raiser! It didn't take long for AJ to gain the popularity of his chili - once tried, everyone always wanted ''his'' chili!

We sometimes ran into each other at the West Columbia Walmart. Even though the Walmart visits were short, it was nice seeing him again!

Again, so sorry for your loss - I know he will be greatly missed!
Rest In Peace AJ!
