It is impossible to estimate the number of lives where Mrs. Travis had a profound, positive, lasting impact...
Countless people who came to know Christ through the seeds she planted and others she simply encouraged.

It's been more than half-a-century since I sat in her Sunday School class at Velasco Baptist Church... where I remember her having firm control over the semi-circle of young boys & girls as she conducted Bible Drills.
( I remember thinking some of those Books weren't in my Bible, and that Dicky had an inside track on the locations!
I also sensed her's wasn't a room where I should cut up or misbehave!)

When she left her earthly tent, and exchanged it for her new perfect and flawless heavenly body - she was no doubt greeted with the words "well done good and faithful servant."

Mrs. Travis was a good lady. A admirable role model. And most of all a great Ambassador for Christ.
